I've spent enough posts talking about the bailouts, spending, and other nationalizations efforts going on in this country that worry me.
Some people may have thought we would see socialism in America before we would ever see Chinese democracy. Or, for that matter, actual democracy in China.
Well, they missed by a few weeks for America but with Hong Kong moving to china, that boat sailed a long time ago.
Nevertheless, released today, for your listening pleasure, was a new single from, of all bands, Guns 'N' Roses.
It is the lead track from an album scheduled for release on November 24.
Yep, 17 years after the release of Use Your Illusion, there is going to finally be another original album from Guns 'N' Roses. Well, 1/6 of them, since Axl chased everyone else out of the band and replaced everyone with people we've never heard of or could hold a candle to Slash, Duff, and Izzy.
Enjoy the new track, Chinese Democracy, from the album called, er, Chinese Democracy.

I gotta say it sounds pretty good to me. Sounds like Axl still. The music is fine. More like the older stuff -- the stuff you don't hear played on radio anymore. Sure, I'd love it if the old lineup was still together. But this is better than nothing (like the past 17 years). And based on this one track, it could even be a lot better than that!
