A proposal has been launched in the State Senate to build a statue on the Capitol grounds honoring former Democratic Governor and Senator Zell Miller...by Republicans...while he's still alive.
The best line of the article:
"State Rep. Steve Davis, R-McDonough, who sits on the committee, said he would like to see the Miller statue replace the statue of former President Jimmy Carter. "
No objections here.
