Linking to this story which says that Atlanta is #1.....in population growth.
900,000 more people in 7 years? Yeah, that's a bit of a jump. 5.1 million people in Atlanta, of which approximately 2 million have no clue how to drive on the Connector or think 285 is their own NASCAR qualifying heat.
Growth is apparently even faster here than in Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, or Vegas.
Guess there's something to be said for nice, warm climates. We're now #9 in total population, passing Boston. Wow.
Still a long way to go to catch up to New York, though. Then again, I'm not sure I'd want 19 million people here, either.
