Rosie O'Donnell is leaving The View.
Don't worry, I'm sure there will be plenty of other places where she can spout her paranoid, delusional, borderline psychopathic ramblings.
I wonder how much they miss Star Jones.............and this will most certainly be my only post ever about The View.

Don't get me wrong. I'm no fan of Rosie. In fact, I usually can't get past her grotesque physical appearance to even consider anything she might actually say.
But you give ABC and The View too much credit. Word is that Rosie dropped them. In other words, she's fishing for anything gig with even more money. So she won't be going away, as you suggested.
Word is that Rosie dropped them.
Spin . . . spin . . . spin
Spin the black record.
Actually, it's closer to a "quit and keep some dignity or get tossed".
I'm seeing the reports that ABC really wanted her to stay for three years.....which seems like complete BS. You don't get released from a contract early (1 year would have ben September) if they want you to STAY.
Maybe the poetry she crafted was too much to overcome as well. I'd link to her blog, but I don't want any more linked to the crazy b***h.
Perhaps. But I still think you are giving ABC/Disney way too much credit if you think they wanted to fire someone like Rosie who a) gets huge ratings, b) is a good liberal, and c) is a proud lesbian in the public eye. She's a tv producer's wet dream! If she either didn't get ratings or had an equally offensive conservative undertone, she'd probably have been dumped quicker than Imus. But as much as we may not like her, she has not committed any sins in the mainsteam liberal entertainment industry.
Even the 9/11 stuff is really not all that big of a big deal to them. Look at Charlie Sheen -- he's more of a whacko on that whole conspiracy thing and still his career flourishes with the #1 sitcom on tv and making millions from CBS.
Rosie ain't going away anytime soon. Meanwhile Imus will never see the big time again after merely saying the word "ho" in jest.
The term "political correctness" is said to derive from Marxist-Leninist vocabulary to describe the "party line".
