In the continued waking of the online gaming bill, Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet have announced plans to merge.
These are two of the better sites on the web, and also are two of the sites that have pledged their doors to remain open to American customers.
This merger will create the second or third largest poker site on the web, behind PokerStars and very close to Full Tilt Poker. I'm not quite sure how account consolidation would be handled as I would imagine many people would have accounts on both sites.

The consolidation is under way.
And if you happen to live in Arizona, click here to redirect to Jim Pederson's website. He is running against Jon Kyl who was one of the chief sponsors of the ban. Make a statement, and contribute or volunteer.
