GOP Straw Poll Time

Interesting that Newt is currently polling second, behind Allen, in looking at nationwide results.

I seem to be in total agreement with my comrades on the right. Evetyone I gave a positive rating has a postive rating around the sphere, and all the negatives have a general negative appraisal.

Interesting about Rudy and McCain. The survey participants are clearly very much to the right, and the consensus is generally pro-Rudy and totally anti-McCain. I think a lot just has to do with attitude - the feeling that McCain is a power hungry whore looking to mug for the camera, whereas Rudy is a straight talking, principled individual (who is also not as socially liberal as people make him out to be - Brooklyn Museum of Art - but just liberal enough to get him into trouble).

Can't you just see this primary commercial. Rudy: more liberal than Howard Dean on the issues of abortion, gay rights, and gun control. And that's actually true. At least Dean has it right on one of those 3 issues.

OK. I'll take that Gingrich-Tancredo ticket right now.
