The car

I haven't come up with a name for her yet - perhaps that should be a contest.

Since it was a fairly good experience and a fairly good deal, I'd probably recommend CarMax to anyone else looking for a car too. So I guess it could be called a good experience.

I'm also wondering if we'll end up buying anything other than Fords from now on. The last two vehicles have both been Fords, and the Escort is still going at 200,000 miles.

True. Because the Ford company has been doing so good as of late, right? Hitting all those Wall St marks and stuff! Nah. I'm just messing with you. Car looks good. But I'm still a Japanese car guy. Our Taurus gives us a lot of little troubles that my Toyotas never have. But then again I'm not driving a tank! ;) I had a buddy who worked for the Carmax in Morrow and I've heard good things about them before too so you probably made a wise choice there as well. Good Luck with iT!

Hey, if Ford moves ahead with a leveraged buyout, we'll be wishing we had jumped in at 6.5 when the asking price of $10/share comes out.

Then again, BDJ, you are an insane driver in the first place, so I suppose it's in the eye of the beholder.

Me? Nah. Ever since I ducked that DUI in Stockbridge I've settled down quite nicely. You're just biased because you still have visions of me bombing the field sobriety test in the rearview mirror and wondering how you were going to drive my stick shift car to the police station! But it was a basketball injury, I tell ya! ;)

Actually, I was thinking about the road trip back from NY when I awoke from a nap to see you driving insanely. Though you bring up a good reference as well....

Remind me not to get in a car with either one of you.

Hey, we're old married codgers now, so we have to tone the driving down now.
